Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed

2 Timothy 2:15

Valley View's Awana children's ministry is held on Monday evenings from 6:30 to 8:15PM at the church's Family Life Center.  The Awana year runs from September through April.

We offer a family meal from 5:45 to 6:15PM.  This is open to all clubbers, leaders, and parents.

Awana is an international ministry with over 15,000 Awana clubs worldwide and more than 6,000 of those in the United States.

Awana is a Bible centered, gospel focused ministry that presents the scriptural message of salvation through Jesus Christ and a life of obedience and service to Him in an exciting and motivational way that is tremendously appealing to kids.  Each weekly meeting consists of an enthusiastic and fun game time, a handbook time where kids learn and recite Bible verses and basic Bible doctrines, and council and award time where songs are sung, a gospel challenge from the Bible is given, and awards are passed out to clubbers as they progress through their handbooks.

There are individual clubs within Awana, for various age groups.  Two and younger three year olds are "Puggles".  Three and four year olds are "Cubbies".  Kindergarten through second grade are the "Sparks".  Third grade through sixth grade is the "T and T" club.  Middle school is "Trek" and high school is "Journey".  Games are geared to age level and wholesome fun, sportsmanship, and encouragement for every child.
